Why These Ingredients

  • SLS/SLES-free: glucoside surfactants preserve the flaxseed-oil seasoning polymer layer — zero saponification risk at neutral pH.
  • Indian saponin actives (Shikakai): 2,000-year validated Indian cleansers — 6–15% saponin delivers effective foam and soil removal at pH 6–8 without mineral leaching.
  • pH 6.8–7.5 constraint: above pH 8, clay surface roughness (Ra) degrades permanently within 5 wash cycles — destroying the natural non-stick quality.

How to Use

  1. Wet the clay vessel thoroughly with water before applying product.
  2. Apply a small amount to a soft natural sponge or sisal scrubber.
  3. Gently scrub interior and exterior in circular motions — do not use metal scrubbers.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until no residue remains.
  5. Air-dry completely in a well-ventilated area before storing or re-seasoning.
  6. Refill: pour pouch contents into the original amber glass bottle and seal.
