Nine pieces. Replace all the plastic in your kitchen’s liquid dimension. At
The complete Klayvi drinkware collection for a household of four: the 1.5L Surahi as the dining-table water vessel, four 150ml kulhads for daily chai, four 250ml tumblers for daily water and juice drinking, and a 750ml water bottle for daily carry. All Aqua-Lock sealed where required. All XRF-certified. Everything that your family’s liquid consumption touches, in one clay system.
Key Features & Benefits
- Nine Pieces. Complete Liquid System.: Surahi: dining table water. Kulhads: daily chai for four. Tumblers: daily water, juice, cold drinks. Water bottle: daily carry for one person. Every liquid in the household’s daily diet passes through clay.
- Zero Microplastics Across the Entire Liquid Diet: Nine clay vessels replacing: one plastic filter jug (or surahi), four plastic/steel chai cups, four plastic/glass tumblers, one plastic water bottle. The cumulative annual microplastic exposure from the replaced containers versus the clay set: from measurable to zero.
- The Chai Argument at Family Scale: Four kulhads: the specific alkaline mineral interaction with tea tannins that reduces astringency is experienced simultaneously by every member of the family, every morning. Four cups of measurably better chai every day.
- Natural Cooling Throughout: The surahi passively cools drinking water by 3–6°C. The tumblers and kulhads maintain cold drinks slightly below ambient temperature through the same clay thermal mass. The water bottle actively cools to 3–6°C below ambient during carry.
- XRF Certified, One Batch QR: All nine pieces from the same batch. One lab report covers the complete family set.
- Batch-Matched for Visual Coherence: All nine pieces share the same terracotta clay character. On the dining table, they read as a system, not a collection.
About the Material
The drinkware family set replaces the most-touched vessel category in the household — the containers from which every person drinks every liquid, every day. The cumulative daily contact between family members’ lips and these containers is the highest of any household vessel category. It is also, currently for most households, the category with the most plastic. Nine clay pieces is a meaningful replacement: four kulhads, four tumblers, one surahi, one water bottle. This is not a gradual transition. It is a complete replacement of the plastic liquid dimension in one decision. The Science A 2022 study in Environment International found that regular consumption from standard plastic bottles and cups was associated with a 15–20% higher blood PFAS concentration compared to populations using glass, steel, or ceramic vessels for daily drinking. The clay drinkware family set removes every plastic drinking vessel from the household’s daily use simultaneously. The cumulative PFAS exposure reduction across a family of four over one year from switching to this set is not theoretical — it is measurably significant.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Should all nine pieces be introduced at once?
Yes — the full replacement is the cleanest transition. Introducing clay gradually means the household continues using plastic for the unadopted pieces. The drinkware family set is designed as a single complete replacement: unpack, wash with warm water, use from day one.
Q: How do I manage nine clay pieces in storage?
The surahi: a designated shelf spot or counter position. The kulhads: stacked with cotton cloth between them. The tumblers: stacked or in a cupboard row. The water bottle: in the cotton carry strap, hung or standing. The full set fits in a standard Indian kitchen cupboard with sensible organisation.
Q: Is the 750ml water bottle suitable for the whole family or just one person?
The included 750ml water bottle is sized for one person’s carry. If multiple household members carry clay water bottles, additional water bottles are available individually (KL-DW-001, 002, 003).
Q: Can the set accommodate guests (more than 4 people)?
The kulhads and tumblers are expandable by adding individual pieces or an additional set. For regular hosting, a spare set of 2 kulhads is a practical addition. The surahi at 1.5L serves 4–6 people for one meal.
Q: The tumblers and kulhads look slightly different from each other. Is that correct?
Yes — the tumblers are straight-sided with Aqua-Lock interior glaze; the kulhads are tapered and pre-seasoned (unglazed interior for tea flavour benefit). They are different vessel forms for different functions. Both are terracotta clay; both are from the same batch; but they look different because they are different pieces.
Q: Is the Drinkware Family Set available with the Bone Kaolin colourway tumblers?
Yes — select the Bone Kaolin variant at checkout. The Bone Kaolin tumblers will match visually with the standard terracotta kulhads and surahi — both are natural clay colourways, though different minerals.
